I loved working with Jon. As I searched to purchase a Subaru Forester, I looked at 5 dealerships and went to 4 in person, including Accolade. Only 2 actually did their own work on the cars and would warranty their work. I purchased through Jon because he gave us such confidence in the work and quality of service. This is obviously a passion for him! He takes pride in the service he provides and doesn't put pressure on your purchase which I highly respect. I've purchased through dealers and private party and the experience can be difficult for so many reasons. If you're looking for a Subaru sold by a straight shooter who will explain the process to you, Jon is your guy!

Accolade Auto is phenomenal in customer service and mechanics ! We bought our son his first car through a private party in Washington. We knew it needed work(but we didn't realize how much) ! We found Accolade via the internet. Took our 2002 Subaru Outback to them to look over the car and make the necessary repairs to get the car in good condition for our son to drive. Accolade greeted us with kind ,caring , honest and very helpful advice for our son's car. There was a lot more to repair than we had anticipated, but Accolade walked us through what needed to be done immediately and could be postponed for a few months. During these last few months of slowly getting this car up and running Accolade has been with us every step of the way : through onsite service , warranty work (they stand behind their products), frantic phone calls (Thank you, John and Ann) if the car was acting up again, curb side service (clearing codes), and one on one explanations of the repairs that were done (Thank you Spencer and John!). Accolade has guided us through quite the mechanical adventure with this car (we have learned a lot) and now we have a great 2002 Outback that will get our son through his last two years of High School and off to college. Accolade is amazing, and highly knowledgeable and skilled about Subarus! Thank you Accolade for making our 2002 Subaru Outback a safe and reliable vehicle for our son !

Our Family owns several Subaru, we bring them all to accolade. We have had them do some strange things... they found the cause of a strange noise was an old dried orange had found it's way into the frame rails.

Excellent salesman owner who will treat you right and give you a fair deal on a great vehicle. Always very friendly and helpful, even when he doesn't stand to make a profit by giving you honest advice based on his years of experience.

Okay, so...Accolade was recommended to me from folks in the Oregon Subaru Club. And I must say....It was the best experience I've ever had looking for a good trustworthy repair shop!! From the time I walked in (while they were on lunch break), it was nothing but positive energy and smiles! They got me in and out within an hour. And Less then 1/3 of the quotes I had gotten from other places! Joe and the crew at Accolade Auto now have Two more permanent customers! #YouGuysRock!

I was so glad to find Accolade when I was looking to buy a new car. I had bought an Outback Sport from Accolade back in 2010 at their old location and Jon was really knowledgeable about Subarus and great through the entire buying process. When I started looking for a new car after passing on my Sport to my son as his first car I started looking at the big name Subaru dealerships as I didn't know where Accolade had relocated to. I was incredibly excited when I found Accolade again. I live on the far east side of Portland and made several trips to check his stock of advertised and non-advertised cars. He showed me a beautiful Outback sitting in the back that was still waiting for parts/repairs before he was willing to sell it. I ended up coming back several times over the next month to see what was available and ended up buying that Outback. If you are looking for a Subaru, Accolade is the only place I tell people to look. They make sure all of the vehicles they sell are actually mechanically sound. They do more than just a check the box test. Jon and the crew at Accolade are honest and there's zero pressure to buy. They know you want a Subaru otherwise you wouldn't be there, and if you let them, they'll help find the right one for you. They've done it for me twice.

My Mom has driven across country and was having issues with her Subaru. We took her car to Accolade Auto and they were so supportive, skilled and knowledgeable. My mom refers to Becca as the “Crown Jewel”! They are so fortunate to have her... she goes the extra mile. Everyone there is so professional. Thanks so much for everything!! In addition, we recently bought a car here for our daughter. It had a brand new motor and was in excellent condition. The owner was so nice and even stayed late to help us finish filling out paperwork and answering questions. Our daughter loves her new car! And we feel great about the purchase. Would definitely recommend them.

I've never had such a pleasant experience in purchasing a vehicle. Especially a used one. This place knows Subaru and does a great job going through their vehicle to put out a reliable car. The best part though was the people here. They went out of the way make sure all the mats and little pieces inside the car were working and threw in free accessories. For being as small as they are they really took care of us from dropping off our car at our work to sending someone to stand in line at the DMV. They really are amazing! Can't give enough stars.
