What is integrity worth? A handshake that means something. Taking extra time and giving full value--doing things right. We bought a car here because Jon really knows Subarus, and he is as good as his word. I never felt like a number, like a percentage. I felt like he sought out the very best my budget could afford and delivered. He never tried to talk me into anything, but clearly spelled out the advantages each vehicle had to offer. When we came back in later for service, every single time we left feeling fairly treated. I have not met anyone in this industry like him.

Had a wonderful experience with Accolade! I had been trying to find a used Subaru for a number of months and had not had any luck until I went to Accolade! Jon was extremely helpful when it came to replacing my older Subaru and provided a very good deal for my trade-in! Short version: I had a great experience buying at Accolade Auto and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality used Subaru. Long Version: I was on Craigslist looking at Foresters and Outbacks about 10 years old. I wanted one that had already had the head gasket replaced and was up to date with timing belts, etc. When I found a Forester at Accolade I was immediately impressed by all the work they had done getting it ready for sale. They did the head gaskets with better than OEM replacements, and also the clutch and timing belt. In addition, they replaced just about every other seal you can get to with the engine out. Thermostat, spark plugs, the whole shebang. The car ran great and had brand new all terrain tires, and Jon warranties all of the work that he has done for a year. Not the whole car, but I felt really confident in his inspection and didn't think he would leave something intentionally unfixed. After a nice test drive with John I put down a deposit immediately. Here is where the top notch service really started. After dealing with the bank I went back to pick up the car. It was the end of the day and so I left the shop just as they were closing. About 20 miles down the road the check engine light came on. I pulled the code and it was the catalytic converter. My first thought was that this was definitely not included in the warranty since he had never fixed it. Still, Jon seemed like a great guy so I called him the next morning to see if we could work something out. After I told him about the code and acknowledged that it technically wasn't under warranty he interrupted and said "That's not the kind of shop I'm running." We scheduled and appointment and he replaced the catalytic converter free of charge. He was well within his rights to send me on my way, but he really believes in sending you out with a well tuned vehicle. I plan to get all of my future work done there. A word of advice... All of the vehicles they sell seem to be in great shape and they sell fast. The lot looks different from week to week. If you see one online I'd go sooner rather than later and be ready to put down a deposit.
